Comics can be fleeting. Once a new issue comes out and you’ve finished reading it, the issue gets put to one side, wedged into a shiny jacket, and dropped into a box which is shoved away into the attic. Maybe you buy the collected edition in trade and read it once or twice, before you put it back on the shelf. Dust settles over the pages, the magic stored away alongside all the other stories you’ve read before.

Shelfdust is looking to give you a reason to pull those old comics back out of the boxes, to take them off the shelf and wipe off the dust. Whether it be in the form of recaps, annotations, or just plain taking the mickey out of comics, we’re building up a digital shelf of commentary on all the books sat on your shelf, waiting to be read once again.
