You’re reading The Complete Infinite Crisis, a Comprehensive and Encyclopedic look through the universe-changing superhero event published by DC from 2005 to 2006. Shelfdust are proud to provide a complete overview of the story, and everything that happens in it. We’ve had to get some experts in though – there’s so much going on that needs to be explained!

We’ve been spending a lot of time on Donna Troy, but I think we now have a handle on her! There’s just one bit of unpleasant business I want to sort out before we move on – where is Nola Pfau? I have a terrible assignment which needs assigning!!

Nola! I keep hearing about Terry Long. Who is Terry Long, and how does he know Donna?

Nola Pfau: Terry Long is Donna’s husband. He sucks.

Things aren’t… weird, are they? This doesn’t get all “comics” on us?

Pfau: It’s been a while since I thought about him (indeed, I actively try not to, so…thank you for this, so much), but it definitely gets weird, in that he is a weird creep.

He was super controlling and eventually they divorced and he filed a restraining order against her, citing that she was a danger to their son Robert.

Oh dear. What, er, happens to Terry in the end?

Pfau: Oh, you know, the usual. Terry, their son, and his daughter from a prior marriage were killed in a car accident in 1997, and then Terry and Robert were resurrected as Black Lanterns to torture Donna in 2010.

I guess that counts as getting “comics”, but it was decades later, so.

Thanks Nola! And now we can finally draw a veil over this whole Donna Troy saga. Thank goodness!
